“Plastic products” is too broad to determine a route. Household articles, construction products, packaging, food-contact materials, industrial components, and products within degradable-plastic scope can have different requirements.
Define the category
Confirm polymer, use, form, food contact, finished-product/component status, and environmental claims. Certain bags and specified products may require the degradable-plastic logo and route, but this is not universal.
Separate SFDA from SABER
For food-contact use, review SFDA composition, migration, declaration, and labelling requirements; do not force SABER automatically. Construction, household, and industrial plastics require their own regulation and SABER classification review.
Evidence and marking
The file may contain material specifications, composition statement, reports, product/label images, manufacturer details, and use/warning information. Do not claim “degradable” or “food safe” without evidence and correct scope.
SaberVerify helps determine category, authority, regulation, evidence, marking, and the applicable SABER or SFDA route. It does not issue logos, approvals, or certificates.
