What Is the Saudi Quality Mark?
The Saudi Quality Mark is a mark owned by the Saudi Standards, Metrology and Quality Organization (SASO). It is placed on products that have obtained a license to use the mark.
The mark is generally optional, except for certain product categories that SASO requires to obtain it.
Who Grants the Saudi Quality Mark License?
SASO grants the license to use the Saudi Quality Mark in accordance with the applicable Quality Mark requirements and the granting process relevant to the product.

- Plugs and electrical switches
- Plastic degradation aids

Saudi Quality Mark licensing is linked to both product conformity and the establishment's ability to maintain an effective quality-management system that supports consistent production in line with the applicable Saudi requirements.
